The Indiana School Board will meet tonight and will focus on hiring several individuals as we get closer to the start of the school year.
The board is expected to approve the agreement to rehire Gregory Lezanic as the district’s athletic director for the next school year. The reason his contract hiring is coming late, according to Superintendent Michael Vuckovich at the last meeting, is because the board has had a lot of other things on its plate, and it was working on taking care of that contract as quickly as it could.
Also on tonight’s agenda is the approval of affiliation agreements with IUP and University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown, athletic event admission rates and complimentary tickets, the hiring of an assistant buildings and grounds supervisor, and approval of the health and safety plan for the next school year.
Tonight’s meeting will be held in-person at the district office at East Pike, but it will also be streamed online at 7:00.
