Indiana Borough Police have charged a Timblin man with theft after they say he stole an iPhone at a convenience store on July 30.
Reports say that an unnamed person told officers that they had lost their iPhone around 7:45 that morning while at the Sheetz along Philadelphia St. and it was later found by Scott Allen Walter, who decided to keep the phone instead of alerting store employees. After using an iPhone tracking application, the person found the phone inside of Walter’s vehicle that was located in Johnstown.
Walter was charged with theft and receiving stolen property through District Judge Guy Haberl.
