A Punxsutawney woman escaped injury yesterday afternoon in a crash on Route 210 in northern Indiana County.
State police say 31-year-old Cristina Pearce lost control on the highway in North Mahoning Township as she navigated a left curve on a slight downhill. Police say she was driving too fast for the snow-covered conditions and she hit the brakes too hard, causing her pickup to slide off the road, where its wheels caught the mud and dug in. The truck rolled onto its roof.
