State police have filed charges against three people in connection with a chase and a drug investigation in Washington Township on August 20th.
Police say at 9:05 that night, state troopers were called out to an area of Bash Road after receiving a complaint of possible drug-related activity at a nearby home. Police saw a 2015 black sedan leave the residence. Police noticed the car’s registration had expired, and when they went to pull the driver over, the suspect sped off. The driver, identified as 36-year-old Kimberly Anne Caylor of Creekside, accelerated to 75 miles an hour before pulling into a parking lot and surrendering. 32-year-old Michale Anthony Mignano of Plumville and 37-year-old Travis Gibson of Indiana were also in the vehicle at the time.
Police found a glass smoking pipe in the center console. During the investigation, Caylor said she told one of the passengers to throw a black magnetic box out the window during the chase. Troopers did find the box and it had 185 baggies of heroin. Mignano tried to provide Troopers with a fake name, and when he was searched, they found suspected meth, a syringe and marijuana. Gibbs was also in possession of drug-related items.
Caylor was charged with conspiracy to possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of communication facility, fleeing or attempting to elude police, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two summary vehicle code violations.
Mignano was charged with possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of communication facility, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and false identification to police.
Additionally, Gibson was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Preliminary hearings are scheduled for September 30.
