A 23-year-old Glen Campbell man will be sentenced today for guilty pleas in two rape cases.
Mark Lee Patterson pleaded guilty to a single count of aggravated indecent assault without consent in each case. He was accused of raping a 16-year-old girl multiple times at a home in Banks Township in July of 2015 and of raping his 24-year-old pregnant girlfriend last January at a home in Glen Campbell. Twenty-two other charges will not be prosecuted. At the time of the girl’s rape, Patterson was staying with the girl’s family.
In the other incident, Patterson and the woman were living at his father’s home.
