Why do you do what you do?
Started because of my grandfather Richard Fyock – To help other people – Assist protecting Life, Property and the Environment. We always state that in that order.
What or who influenced you to get into public service?
My Grandfather Richard Fyock, He also influenced others in our family, including my brother Jody Rainey, current Fire Chief / treasurer, and my Aunt Karen Markle, who was the first female firefighter in Indiana County.
What has developed recently in your public service career and what is the significance of it?
Our team at Cherryhill Township has completed a long overdue new engine house that allows us to better equip and serve our community.
